BayRock’s second investment in the prominent Piedmont Avenue Retail Neighborhood district. BayRock purchased the site, via an off-market negotiation in October 2018. The team carefully completed a one year entitlement process with the City. An approved Remediation Plan with Alameda County Environmental Health Services was also part of this process. One Piedmont will include 57, large, luxury apartment homes, including 3 homes affordable to Very Low Income families. The dynamic, 6 story design includes 6,000 sf of neighborhood retail designed to serve the large daytime and nighttime population associated with the neighboring 1M+ sf Kaiser Medical Center and bustling Piedmont Avenue district. Amenities include onsite secured parking, rooftop sundeck, multiple verandas and balconies, fitness room, Resident Lounge, Business Work area for resident-only use, and private secured storage for each home. Construction commenced late 2020.
